Yes, it's some coastal rocks, pretty good ones at that, but it's the myth behind it that make it special. If you're in the area it really is a must.

Stopped off on our drive from Paphos to Nicosia as it was just off the main road. Free car park across the road from the beach with a small shop, cafe & toilets. Beach access itself is down some rocky steps and through a tunnel under the road - it does get wet & slippery so be careful there. The... More

Viewed whilst travelling to Pathos, several view points along the cliff roads as well as access to the pebble beach.

Everyone told us it was not worth seeing, but it's an easy pop-off from the highway on the way to Paphos. It's absolutely beautiful! Take a few pics, climb the rock if you like, and move out. The rocky beach looks nice but isn't inviting for swimming though.

This is quite a stunning attraction and completely free! The water is a deep blue-green contrasting with the dark lava rock looking formations sitting just offshore. You can access the beach by pulling off into the parking area of a small store that sells souvenirs and some food and drink (they also have clean restrooms). You walk down a staircase... More

Took a taxi from our hotel. Sea was very rough but got some good photos. It is just a rock though in the sea. Nothing to pay to see it. Car park across the road and then there is stairs and.a tunnel under the road to reach it. There is also a gift shop there and toilets

We visited in March. The weather wasn't good but thankfully not raining. We parked over the road and used the tunnel onto the beach. I was completely stunned as we walked onto the breach. This breathtaking sight is completely unspoilt. You'll need trainers or walking shoes (particularly if out of season) to walk easily around the bay...... and don't forget... More

What a beautiful place. It seems strange to give a natural phenomenon a 5* review, but it is so beautiful. Please trust me, don't just look at it from the main road. Stop and take the time to walk down and touch the rock. It's almost spiritual. It feels like marble.

Very nice view of the beach with big rocks in the sea . Believed to be the place where Aphrodite came out of the sea . Stop your car to watch and take a photo .

We visited on the way to the airport at around 0930 on a Monday morning in February. It was too cold to swim, but we were the only ones there. If you can, visit early or in the off season during the week to see it without lots of people. Highly recommend.
