The hiking trail was well maintained and marked. Janes fall were not running but it hadn’t rained in 2 weeks. It was 30+ degrees the day of our hike so we started out at 8am. The view from the top was spectacular.
The hike was very nice until we got to the summit and saw the skyline pollution caused by all the windmills. Outside of that, it was a nice hike through some beautiful terrain in this part of Nova Scotia.

With a lot of tree cover, the vistas are limited but the feeling of seclusion is what make these hikes so nice.
The trail is well marked and is never too rugged, if walking when wet, better to use hikers or shoes with good treads....More
