Tired of walking around RS? Hop over to Bagram. Wide open spaces, Green Beans, and high winds coating pedestrians in a light dirt. For a change of pace, hit the subway. Hospitality is somewhat poor. I got suck in my room for two hours due...More

Tired of the wife and kids? This is the place to be. I proudly received a first class eticket from my uncle. The trip itself included a short layover in Germany and a pit stop in Kuwait. First class travel and accommodations. All food and...More

You have to love Bagram. The defacs are really good. There really is no night life so to speak except for the surprise incoming. You have to look at this place as a glass half full, not half empty. It does test your sanity though.

It is what you make it. You can walk faster than you can drive. Best place would be the Pat Tillman USO building! Chances are that you are hanging out waiting to go home!

Nice local sand to exfoliate your hands and face or feet if you're fortunate enough to get to where sandles! Most people pay good money for such luxury but here you get paid an extra 1000 dollars a month to take this vacation!

BAF was the Walmart of Afghanistan. I lived in a tent in the middle of no where and enjoyed having a defac and Internet every second I could here. Great vacation spot.

Came through here with some co-workers. More built up/developed than our destination, but it attracts the more undesirable parts of society. Also, getting a flight out of here takes FOREVER!

I have worked there. Yes, there is still in coming fire. It depends on what you mean a lot. I think any in coming fire is to much!
