It's the birthplace of St. Ignatius of Loyola, one of the most significant figures of Western Civilization. Definitely worth a visit for people who believe and hope to believe. #popefrancissj

I'm a devout Catholic-Christian, so of course I love this place of St. Ignatius' birth. If you are not a believer, I hope you will come and appreciate the beauty, history and sacredness of this place.

The Sanctuary of Loyola is a must see. Located at the birth place of Saint Ignacio de Loyola. Take the self guided tour and spend time in the church. The dome and main altarpiece are beautiful. Time very well spent.

From the outside the basilica is impressive, but the best of the spectacle is the interior. Dedicated to St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order, it's been built and decorated with no expense spared. There's a majestic dome, 200ft high but the most beautiful...More

Hi, are there bus tours for me to see the Basilica and Santuario de Loyola from Pamplona?

Response from Chris R | Reviewed this property |
I don't know if there are. The bus tours I saw at the sanctuary were groups that seemed to have been together for an extensive trip through Spain.
