Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I visited this park recently to enjoy a walk and the views of the Melbourne city skyline.

This park is a short driving distance from my house. It is well maintained and is popular among the locals.

This is a great venue: walk the dog; jog around the park; admire the mature trees; cook on the well maintained bar-b-qs; picnic on the grass; play cricket on the oval or tennis in the local tennis club or take the little ones to play on the well equiped playground. All fantastic options.

But the best night of all is certainly New Years Eve when large crowds of family and friends bring the kids along to have picnics, play games and watch the fantastic fireworks over the city from a wonderful vantage point.

A great recreation area with several layers of parks on a hill. Playground area is large and challenging for kids. Fantastic views of the city and eastern suburbs. Excellent for joggers, walkers and similar. Clean and well kept. Plenty of parking.

A great park to walk the dog with no fear of cars etc. Also a collection point for the yummy mummies of the private school set. A bit too safe for me but very popular with the Scitch brigade

This park is large with much lawn area. The tennis courts have public toilets available and the children's playground is quite pleasant with shady seating nearby. Then you look towards the city and the view is amazing. Few parts of Melbourne match this for seeing the city skyline.

I've been a local to Anderson park for 40 years. It is my thinking place. Great views over the city, good playground, generally nice to walk around (just avoid the dog poo that some people neglect to collect)

The most relaxing park to sit quietly and watch sundown and night view. It is always been a terrific experience. Very friendly people around and many lovely dogs running around. I have been going to this park regularly and always had a great time. It's just wonderful. Have a seat on the ground and watch the sun goes down and enjoy your moment without any disturbance.
