We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Decent venue with indoor and outdoor seating.
I wasn't aware that there was a cocktail bar upstairs so I didn't access this.
Plenty of road side seating under shades in the front.
Really good sours on tap.

Great place to people watch and enjoy a drink or two.

Plenty of board/card games which is a little unique and a bit of fun.

Loads of tap beers to choose from or choose from the huge wall of fridges. Wine and cider options available also.

Place like this normally right up my street but I was disappointed. It’s mainly full of pretentious pricks pretending they enjoy a craft beer or lager, and the service sucks.

A HUGE selection of drinks in the fridge which you then take to the bar to pay and get poured. No prices for any of the drinks so it’s a lucky dip hoping you haven’t chosen one of their very expensive drinks. When I wanted to change my selection as it was ridiculously expensive $20 for 1 can the barman wasn’t too impressed. They charge more to drink your chosen beer inside too rather than takeout.

My other friends had asked for one of their tap beers, they were told it was finished. They chose another, that was also finished. They then were about to chose again when the barman stormed off and served others. They asked another younger bartender for advice on some drinks and he did not have any knowledge or suggestions. To the long dark (grey) haired barman, working in a craft ale bar does not make you ‘cool’, your customer service truly sucks to non regulars.

Some people will enjoy the concept and I was looking forward to it, but sadly we will not be back.

Why this place isn’t hopping all the time I don’t know. It’s a place that has been well thought out for style, ambience and downright funk. Each table has a game on it (think Jenga) and they are spacious and inviting. You can be indoors or out - either is nice. The beer available is plentiful. Traditional, local, craft, on tap - just everything as well as wine or soft drink for those that don’t wish to partake. The wall with all the tap beer on is clever and had me wanting to try a little of everything. Staff were
fabulous and very patient as I found it hard to decide what to try.
Good parking out the front but there are meters (2 hours @ $4 per hour). Wheelchair friendly. Nice and warm on the chilly winter night I was there. I will return.

And continuously changing. That is not to mention the fridges with hundreds of other beers and ciders! They even had some wines for those of that desire.

Popped in early in the afternoon for a few drinks. Was quiet to start with, being new years eve. But the selection of beers/ciders was extremely good. Relaxed atmosphere allowing for good chat with mates over a few cheeky games. Definitely recommend and will go back.

After lunch, we came to Beermash for a quick beer. The staff was very knowledgeable. I told him keywords of what I want and he quickly recommended something nice. We went there during the afternoon, so it wasn't packed. It's a great place to catch up and chit chat. If we didn't have our next appointments, we can hang out at Beermash for hours.

Took the wifey and bub for a couple of beers during good beer week and really liked the spot. The staff know their products and a little takeaway fridge is a nice touch. We probably went in on a day that the options were all a bit pricey. Still definitely do try ✌

This is one of my favourite places in the world for truly great beer. Always a good range on tap (including sours and darker styles) and a truly amazing selection of beers in the fridges.

The staff are friendly and knowledgable, and they also have board games available to while away the hours. And in the evenings you can now you can get the boys to order you an excellent pizza from Alimentari next door, sliced and delivered hot to your table.

Highly recommended.
