Worth the 9 km drive on a narrow but good road to reach the monastery perched on 1100m high mountain. Spectacular views, beautiful old fortified monastery from 1300’s. At €1 entry very cheap.

Worth a detour between Seville and Zafra! On a tiny little winding country road up to a high viewpoint next to the monastery. The building was closed, but the views of the surrounding country side were spectacular!
