Appreciated the gorgeous island, excellent for snorkeling, swimming and not as commercial as Ile Aux Cerfs. Saw many fish while snorkeling. No dustbins or toilettes though...

We spent around 45min there and we did not walk inside, we only stood on the beach and in water. It was here for the first time that i saw a big tortue when snorkeling. Sadely there are lots of boats, hundreds of people. Dead corals and it smells like gasoline.

Nice little island with a great beach. We visited on a catamaran day trip from Grand Baie. Opportunity to rent Sun loungers and umbrellas on the island but no other services. Good snorkelling if you swim out from the beach.

We were dropped on the island by dingy and told we would be picked up again in 3 hours and taken back to the catamaran. What hell,my feet burnt since the catamaran staff refused to give our shoes back to us.Nothing on the island no toilet,no water,no good place to swim.Atourist trap 100%.AVOID.

There really isn't that much to see on the island itself. But you can snorkel right from the beach and see some cool fishes. Also the catamaran cruise to get to the island is a fun way to spent the day.

Beautiful place! Lightblue sea + a lot of fish. Great place for snorkeling. Would have liked to stay a little longer! The boattrip was also nice, a bbq was included and people were dancing on the boat on the way back!

It was a good experience. The beach is very pristine and you feel as if you are on a uninhabitated island. I visited Flat Island and Coin D'Mire along with it.

Must visit sight for the beach lovers and honeymooners. You can reach here thru speed boats or catamaran cruises. It's amazing day cruise and do carry pair of swim suit to enjoy the beach. Amazing triangular landscaping with water at 3 sides.. Making the looks of the beach most attractive among all the beached of Mauritius...

We visited Flat island and Gabriel Island with catamaran. The gabriel beach is really beautiful, but we were really dissapointed and sad after seeing that the coral reef is totally dead there. You can see some nice fish from time to time, but the corals are all dead, what a pity. They say it is ideal for snorcheling but I... More

My wife and I went on the Calypso Catamaran Cruise to Gabriel Island for the first time and we were blown away by the beauty of the place as well as the great service of the crew aboard the catamaran. The island is simply spectacular and the seas are stunning blue and clean, sporting teams of fish and a healthy... More
