About
Lefkadia Valley is located on the northern foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, just a few kilometers away from Russia's Black Sea coast. An agricultural treasure trove for millennia, it has also become a gastronomic destination in our times. Viticulture has flourished, as well as sheep herding and local cheese-making - all contributing to a simple yet wonderful cuisine. With its rolling hills and pristine lake Lefkadia welcomes you to discover Russia's Elysium Fields.

Excellent! No more. Lovely place and lovely people. When compared to Other countries - nothing to be ashamed about.

Well done, Mr Nikolaev! (He's the owner.)
Nov. 2019 • Couples
We were there some two years ago and loved the place but when we came this time the impression was even better. The mansion is enlarged, their charming Italian (or is it French?) garden became bigger, a hotel appeared, a pizzeria, the restaurant now is much more spacious, etc., etc.
Actually we visited a cheese festival which was a slight disappointment (not much cheese!) but Lefkadia is sure not to blame.
Their restaurant is still very good though their previous chef was much better. It does not mean the place is not worth visiting - on the contrary! We were served quickly and effeciently (the restaurant was packed) and the food was really yummy. The bill was slightly over RUR 2,000 - not much at all. (We ordered two starters, two main dishes, a glass of white wine and some green tea.)
Recommended! Go there in low season and on a working day and you'll be enchanted by marvellous landscapes, hideaways, vineyards, gazebos, ponds, lavender fields and much much more. Booking in advance is a must. And, yes - they speak English!

Wineyard with great Potential
Jul. 2018
We visited the wineyard, had an excursion and ate in the evening at the restaurant. By accident we joined an event (poetry). The event started already at the excursion. The territory looks a bit like Toscana lanscape, and they intend to produce great wine there. Afterwards, we had dinner at the restaurant and continued the poetry event there. Unfortunately it was only in Russian.

In principle the restaurant is quite nice - a bit slow though. However at that event several things went wrong. We were not super hungry, but needed to choose the complete menu of the event, and the waitresses did not manage to explain it properly. This caused a confusion and misunderstanding in the order. More flexibility would be beneficial to the restaurant. The food was a bit cold and just average taste.

Lefkadia also offers a hotel nearby. We stayed there for one night, and it is a strong recommendation. However, be aware to bring your own milk, because they run out of milk over the weekend ;).
Unfortunately, there is no shuttle (for 1.5km) between the hotel and the wineyard which would be very beneficial. In our case we needed to call a taxi which takes a while.
