The address for the Alma Park Zoo is incorrect. It has moved to the site of the old Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast at Woombye. I did try to post a review about 6 months ago noting the closure of the old site and transferral of the zoo animals to the new location but Trip Advisor said that they would close the listing down rather than publish the review, based on the information. Sadly, inconsistent reviewing processes seems to indicate that this has not occurred and reviews are still being posted for the incorrect address and site. The old site of the Alma Park Zoo is a housing estate now. Sadly also, it seems that people are posting reviews on here for Australia Zoo, which is a completely different place and different experience to the Alma Park Zoo. The Alma Park Zoo which is now the Qld Zoo and is good for young children. Kudos to them for taking the animals from the previous zoo site.

Oops it's moved to the Big Pineapple, so that's a place to venture too. Used to be convenient for overnight visitors or overseas visitors when trying to cram a lot in. Always found it more inviting than Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin place), not so gimmicky and slick, more animal friendly for kids and those a timid nature.
