This place is something else I heard about it though a friend it is a little hard to find but worth it.
The shop is full of Harry Potter merchandise and you can have your photo take. I. The flying car (for free) .
You can buy anything in there that a Harry Potter fan could want.
Unfortunately there didn’t have any of the lollies that I love the the story .
If you are going though or stopping in Canberra and are a Harry Potter fan it is a must.

Hi Carolef117. So sorry we didn't have any lollies when you visitied. Often our suppliers run out and they can be on back order for months... and then our order finally arrives and they are all gone within days!!! Sadly, you have to get the timing right and that is all about luck. Maybe next time you visit... Thanks for the excellently magical review though. We really appreciate it and look forward to your next visit. We really appreciate you supporting our small, family owned and run business. ⚡⚡⚡

First thing when approaching the building from across the street my son and myself both said "WOW" at the same time. Even though we are locals we haven't had the chance to come out to see the store. Although small, they still have a great range of merchandise. They also hold birthday parties one was happening in the back when we were there and the kids sounded like they were having a magical time. We will be back because I didn't buy enough sherbet lemon sweets.

What a magical place, the staff are so warm and help bring the magic to life. My daughter hosted her 7th birthday in the potions class and it was fantastic! Exciting every minute, well organized, something for everyone and a dose of science thrown in.
Having a party photo inside the flying car, taking home your own wand and exploring all the locked doors, and secret hiding places - so clever and so entertaining
The only disappointment was that the sorting hat ceremony nominated both my daughters into Slytherian and they’d like a re do please :) haha
Kudos to our professor of potions- you were fabulous with the kids. The setting is adorable and I highly recommend for a fabulous and magical kids (or big kids) party.

I stumbled into this place whilst waiting for a toasted sandwich next door. Had heard of Harry Potter but not read any books or seen any films. As I wandered around wondering at what so many objects were, and considering buying a Hufflepuff bag for a Slytherin fan, (such was my ignorance!) I was approached by the owner and asked if I wanted any help. Long story short, his knowledge, friendliness and enthusiasm converted me and I rushed home to borrow from the library. Read the first two books and then listened to the rest, read by the incomparable Stephen Fry. My life was changed forever and now I understand what all the fuss is about! This shop is a must for any Harry Potter fan!

The Witches and Wizards(staff) here are amazing, they go out of their way to help, we always stop off here on the way home from the snow, but this year due to covid the dates were not lining up with their opening hours, a quick message to them and they opened up for just myself and my son to come in and look around (and buy more harry potter supplies) so well themed, and great product range. Thankyou Guys
Such a magical store with so many Harry Potter items for sale some of which are exclusive as they commission them just for them, . Oh and the witches and wizards who work there are so entertaining,engaging and just fantastic +butterbeer ontap wow really suggest a visit to any fans or friends of fans or family looking for pressures for Harry Potter fanatics it's just enchanting and charming they even run online trivia for the kids and adults

Quizzic Alley is pure magic! So much thought and effort has gone into creating this amazing space. We had such a great time exploring all the little nooks and felt very welcome to stay and play as long as we wanted. Super friendly and helpful staff and the best range of products. My daughter was literally in her happy place and could have stayed all day. She even said she wants to live there! A must do for any Harry Potter fan!

What a fantastically magical review! Thank you so much for taking the time to post about Quizzic Alley. Although we discourage wizards, witches and magical creatures from actually taking up residence at Quizzic Alley, some of the couches around the place are very comfy and the perfect spot to recharge one's magical powers after the excitement of discovering our magical store. Australia’s best Harry Potter shop located in the Canberra suburb of Fyshwick. They only stock genuine and licensed products so you can buy with absolute certainty that it’s is quality. A massive massive range from collectables to homewares to books and games and clothes and costumes. They stock ranges from all the houses even the hard to source Ravenclaw. The staff are eager to help and all devoted fans so test their knowledge. And if you have little kids (or have been a fan since 1997) they offer kids parties and potion classes for birthdays.
A real treat for the kids and well worth a visit.

Quirky store with heaps of Harry Potter items available for sale. The store is small and it areas cramped. A wide variety of items for collectors or to surprise you Potter fan with.

Amazing Harry Potter experience for adults and kids. We always come here when in Canberra, our kids love it but would also be fun for adult fans. As soon as you see the front of the store you will be excited.
We’ve done a wand making class which was great fun and really got the kids into it. They came away with a wand, certificate of authenticity and a butter beer.
There are lots of things to buy but you can also just look around, get a photo in the flying car and the large toys (they have a couch in the middle of the store - currently with a giant fluffy toy behind it).
There are toilets on site and a toasted cheese sandwich store next door and plenty of street parking. It is out of the way but easy to find and to see when you get there.

I visited yesterday and was after a specific robe but it wasn’t in stock here but the young lady was so friendly and helpful. She was amazing trying to find it for me from the Sydney store and suggested I order it online which I have done. Looking around the store it is amazing as always and has some truly amazing things to offer! Keep up the fabulous work guys!
