This road reminds me somehow on Trollstigen near Geiranger fjord in Norway. Both roads have similar hairpin bends, waterfalls and viewpoints on the top. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit it was raining, so we could not enjoy the views as we probably could...More

Funtastic driving experience, hundreds of curves both side of the hill; unimaginable sights, wonderful forests, waterfalls, lakes. Compulsory program for everyone, must see.

Everyone who is in Romania, whether a car lover or not, must take a drive on this highway. Amazing natural views and clean air to take in. Such a wonderful experience.

If you are visiting Romania you can't miss this place. The view from the top is breathtaking. Pack some extra worm clothes, it's pretty cold even in the summer.

I will not be popular, but I have to be honest and this means being blunt: This road got the best ever marketing from Top Gear, and in my opinion is overrated. To avoid any misunderstanding I have to say that the scenery if great,...More
