We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Much smaller than Syracuse and Taormina and somewhat overgrown but definitely worth a visit to see this and the rest of the site. It is probably Roman but built on the site of a Greek theatre. Now used for concerts and plays so some modern seating added.

Nice walk up. Theater is part of the archeological site. One entrance. Teatro is a bit overgrown. But still a nice site to visit.

Interesting to see if you are nearby and you haven't seen one before. Nothing spectacular or particular regarding this place.

This place is really charming and once over it is clear to see this was once cared for and important. However its very overgrown, the roped walkways are visible here and there through the vegetation that has overgrown the site. The mosaics were lovely but even they were in need of a bit of weeding. Still worth a look.

The theater is "small" and intimate and close to the spectators. We had this place almost to our selves, so why not grab the chance and make your own performance.

How amazing is this, and it was built without any help from the Internet too! Do yourself a favour if you're visiting the ruins and take time to marvel at real workmanship.

Poorly maintained and clean. There was also rubbish scattered .. a real shame because all places of culture should be protected and defended , even in this particular a theater so rich in historical beauty.

Beautiful archaeological site, with an internal museum to visit. The only flaw is that there are very few "directions" so you have to look for where to go. Furthermore, since there are no maps they make you download the QR, but unfortunately there is very little coverage, so the links don't open 😞. The theater is fantastic. Despite everything it deserves to be visited.

A real disappointment, returning to this jewel of great historical/cultural interest, and finding it dirty.
Left to the neglect of listless, indolent employees, interested only in their cell phones.
On the external site, presence of masks, still after 2 years.
Unkept toilets, left untouched.
A real shame!
