We enjoyed this 2.5 hour walk along the coast and across the rocks on a sunny summer's day. Enjoyed a mini picnic en route and there is a bathing area too. Age of walkers ranged from 7 to 54...good footwear required. The White House was...More

This is a very pleasant walk through the pink granite hills on the edge of the sea in Lysekil. We watched the sunset 2 nights from here. When the weather is warm, it is very pleasant. When the cold wind is blowing off the sea,...More

A place to walk on and under huge granite slabs, wonder at trees grown with practically no soil to spread their roots into and, if you get lucky, see wolves. Don't worry, though, you're in no danger! Then, after clambering between walls of stone, there's...More

Great place to hike (easy-moderate hiking) and get amazing views over hundreds of tiny islands. Can be very hot and sunny in the summer (no trees).

This is a nice place to have a walk, but also to relax have a nice swin in the sea. There are some nice parts but there are also a lot rocks to walk on. It is alos pretty close a more traditional beach.

A scenic walk along the path up the pink granite Rock. Steep steps but well worth the effort. Path is well marked. There is sometimes organised walks. Ask at the tourist information or check out their website.

The most photographed view of Lysekil is found here. But.. .. That is not the real attraction! Take a walk to the top of the rock hill. Look at the unbroken horizon and contemplate the meaning of life. Wonderful! If you are really late you...More
