We love this beach but we've learned the hard way to stay away on long weekends because the parking lots fill up so fast in the morning that it is closed off. I prefer this beach over all three in the Belcarra region because it...More

We had a super morning at Sasamat Lake. White Pine Beach is lovely - we arrived early (around 9am) and it was very quiet. By about 11:30 it was packed. We enjoyed the warm water, clean and organized facilities and trails to explore. A lovely...More

We enjoyed an afternoon at White Pine this past weekend - my family with out-of-town friends: time spent on the beach, a walk-around the lake-perimeter trail. Sand is nicely fine; water is warm under a hot sun; the trail is an easy half-hour hike on...More

The smell of the forest is so fresh as you drive in from the road to the parking area. Plenty of parking and good size lake. Many families enjoying the warm weather and beaches.

The Whete Pine Beach is nice on the Sasamat Lake. There are chair and table for quick lunch, the trails can start from this beach around the Lake.

Awesome place to go to enjoy the sun and water. Just make sure you get there by 11am or else they close the parking and you have to hike it to the beach

How do you get there? Drive out to Port Moody, take the IOCO road and follow the signs to White Pines Beach/Sasamat Lake. It is a gorgeous place to spend a summer's day, but everybody else wants to go there too. This makes access very...More

The lay time I visited was in January, but that wasn’t the first. There is geese poop everywhere and never anyplace to sit. I cannot stand going to this beach.

White Pine is very limited on parking. We try to get there no later than 10:30. Once it is closed that's it.
