This was once the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan. It’s a good place for hiking and birding. The hill also has temples dating back to the Chola period. It gets extremely crowded on weekends. The hills offer great views of the surroundings, though.

We visited the Nandi hills recently. To get the best out of it, I would suggest that one should reach the hills by 5:30 AM to behold the breathtaking scenic views of morning clouds moving close by. You could actually touch them. The climate is...More

The early morning ride along with the mesmerising view made my today totally. This can be visited with anyone; friends family. Don't forget to take jackets and cameras with you and just sit there to enjoy the natural beauty.

I believe so but not sure how to book. Best to get a car and driver from Bangalore. Not too expensive and that way you get to choose how long you care to stay.
