Catherine’s Palace is beautiful, both the interior and exterior including the grounds. I was very impressed with every room we walked through and of course the famous Amber Room. The history was very interesting. We booked an excursion through our ship and glad we did.
Catherine's Palace is a must see palace when visiting the St. Petersburg area. Gold trimmings in most rooms was a wonderful sight. Room after room brought a different look. The Amber Room was outstanding and beautiful. Very enjoyable afternoon of sightseeing!
This is a palace. Really on par with Versailles and a must see. It was busy, but if you take your time and let the big groups go through you will really enjoy the visit. Of course the Amber room was crazy busy.
