Incredible visit. The amber room is the most talked about, but all is wonderful. It is a must see while touring Russia. You will be amazed, even after touring other palaces in Europe. Incomparable! We enjoyed touring with a private Alla guide.

Talk about an abundance of gold leaf! This palace is incredible! As you go from one room to another, you are just amazed at the decorations. Of course the highlight is the amber room. Beautifully restored!

On trip from Explorer of the Seas, the gold leaf in the ballroom is something else. The facade beats any other palace I have seen and the gardens are beautiful. This is 100% not to be missed.

Aside from the splendor of the palace and grounds, it is amazing to us that the Soviets allowed this beauty of the Romanov dynasty survive and indeed be preserved during the revolution, and very thankful that it was. Such buildings could never be recreated today,...More

Catherine’s Palace was a beautiful place to visit. A blue, white and gold vision of architectural splendor is awaiting you as you enter here gates. Every room is more beautiful then the next highlighted by the famous Amber Room.

We loved exploring the grounds and rooms of the Catherine Palace. It's stunning! We walked to the town center after our tour and were charmed by the people at the shops where we purchased flowers and wine.
