Not too big but big enough for you to feel how local market is. It's truly local. Lots of people from many village come and make a beautiful place.

Great Sunday market. Only 2 km from Lai Châu city. Very friendly people. You can buy there great gifts.

Not so famous like Bac Ha market, no foreigner tourists around but this give you a true impression about the mountainous areas of Vietnam. Only open on Sunday but then you can have the best pictures of the local communities. the local food is highly recommended.

Explore Tam Duong Dat market or San Thang market 70 km from Sapa , this is the largest market in Lai Chau From early morning , the ethnic people of Lu , Giay , H’Mong , Dao and Thai , in their most beautiful costumes, flock to the market with their diverse farm products . also animals as pick, chicken , buffalo , duck , eggs , vegetable , honey , cassava . and traditional specialties and crafted objects.
For the locals , the market also privides a chance for them to meet and chat with each other and even relax. Join in to explore the market and learn more about the ethnic minority people of the Northen Vietnam.
