We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very refreshing and just a short drive from Baybay City center. The place has an entrance fee of PhP20 just take habal2x to get the top of the peak. and the people here are very accommodating.

The sight of 16,000 roses, although not real, is awesome. Even butterflies probably thought they were real. Best to see as night falls because then the roses are lit.

I came here the other day and as there's not much else to see in Baybay this is worth a look. It is quite a nice view with the roses. Come at sunset I suggest.

A classic case of paving paradise and putting up a parking lot.

My family was there last July and we feel very very fortunate that we had been able to be there once before when the land was unmarked. Stunningly beautiful.

Luckily my family was able to enjoy the weather, the view and the sunset a second time as we were able to go over to the far south side for a relatively secluded evening picnic on the grass and a couple of rocks (recommended). We moved off to the side and out of view of the fake roses, negotiating the terribly spaced and cast stairs with a young child. Luckily, no falls or trips as she was getting lifted by one parent on each side to negotiate the awkward steps.

Note in my humble opinion, the site deserved to be preserved and utilized in a much more sensitive way. So, who needs thousands of fake roses lit with LEDs in a place of such outstanding natural beauty? So misled. However, I hope that the main driver for this new facility is to open up the vista to those people that otherwise couldn't make it due to a handicap or the like. Begging the question of why not just an unassuming overlook, with CR's, a couple parking spaces and a turn-around? Jeez....... The only good thing is that it isn't placed right on top of the hill ( which is in fact, a professional opinion).

Even as it is developed, placing yourself out of view of the new work and looking off across the hills and over the town and water makes this a very very worthwhile trip. Sunsets are most excellent. ( and send a silent thanks to the horses below for infringing on their space).

Great view, fresh air. I would suggest going there at night, we went there around noon due to lack of time, so we did not get to see the blossoms lighted up.

The view was overwhelming when we arrive. The best time to visit is dusk, just before the sun disappears from the horizon. We walked and hiked from Brgy Pomponan, a brgy before the peak. It was a 4-5km steep hike and it was worth it! You can hire habal habal either from baybay city terminal or from brgy Pomponan but we preferred commuting to brgy pomponan and hike to the peak.

This mountain is only a short drive outside Baybay City, accessible through Pomponan, on the Baybay-Maasin Road. After a drive up the hill, one can enjoy views of Ormoc Bay, Baybay, and surrounding mountains. It's cool and breezy there, even if it's stuffy and hot in the city.

There is also a small cave, with some water, for exploring. It's not monitored, and there is no entrance fee. There are some ropes and stairs inside for climbing into the cave. Caution is advised, as well as a hat.

There is a road project ongoing to improve the road to the top, as this peak is a "registered tourist destination."
