Neat pentagon-shaped fortress built by the Portuguese in the XVIII century right in the middle of the national park. The museum is not well equipped though and they could have done a better job in explaining the history of the place

The fort itself is worth a visit if you are passing. It's close to Punta del Diablo.The views are tremendous, the fort from the road us impressive but once in it's mediocre but at 40 peso who cares

If happens for you to be in Rocha-Uruguay, have a look of this fortress. Has a lot of history and a good view. It is not a must but if you are arounds is a nice complex to see.

If you like beach walking this is a great day trip from Punta del Diablo. Allow 2 to 2.5 hours to walk there, an hour max to look around, maybe an hour to grab some lunch at the Moza cafe and 2 to 2.5 hours...More

Fortaleza de Sanata Teresa is located in a really big and nice park to visit. You can go by car or bike and there are directions inside the park. Great landscapes!
