If you are lucky enough to land on Tristan then I recommend you take a few minutes to sample a beer at the Albatros Bar. Friendly staff (like all the islanders!) and interesting to spend a little time at the focal point of island life.

Since this is the world’s most remote inhabited island, this must be the most remote bar. The beer was cold, the wine was warm, however, the weather was lovely and we were toasting the fortune of being some of the few people in the world...More

The only pub on Tristan, with very reasonably priced drinks, and a friendly crowd, when it's open! Also had an adjacent community center that is kid friendly.

Our 'cruise' ship only had 6 hours on the island and after visiting the necessary sites (1961 volcano trek, potato patches) it was inevitable that people would go to what I believe is the only bar on the island. Inside there is a pool table...More

Yes. I think a bit larger than what's common in the US, but they did. I think 2 or 3, but I didn't count.
