"See the Bay in a different way" Jervis Bay Bike Hire offers late model push bikes including hybrid road bikes, beach cruisers, tandems, trikes, children's bikes and kick scooters, we also offer a selection of children's add ons such as toddlers seats, tag a longs and chariots. You can join one of the many cycling tracks and cruise the coastline reaching beautiful locations which you may otherwise miss when travelling by car. Bikes are hired on a day rate, hire for multiple days and we deliver and collect to your holiday home by request. Loyalty discounts apply to local accommodations with return of vouchers. Call today to reserve your bike in advance, no charges are made until collection.

Last weekend I visited Jervis Bay with a group of 14 friends, we rented bikes as a last minute afternoon activity from Jervis Bay Bike Hire in Vincentia, Lilian the rental lady was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and tracks giving lots of local insight about what not to miss. Bikes were in great condition and easy to ride and being a large group we were given a great discount. We loved the local bike tracks around the beaches, next visit we will hire again it was a great activity.

We absolutely enjoyed our day on bikes from Around Jervis bay bike hire, our large group included young children so the tag along and baby seat were hired for an amazing cost of $5 each for the day, also we had a family member who was unsteady on a bike, he were able to hire a trike and participate in the day long activity.
The business is mobile with delivery being offered on pre booked bikes but we were able to arrange collection from an agent in Vincentia, its worth noting we were advised without an advance booking the agent may not be available, we were told pick up anytime between 8am and 12pm, delivery back to the agent was easy with a key lock box available our unassisted return could be at anytime. This made our day very flexible with some of us returning earlier than others.
The agent we used was very close to the bike tracks and beaches in Vincentia and we were able to park in their driveway off the street. I would absolutely recommend this activity for all age groups all levels of bike riding abilities. Our bikes ranged from $20 up to $40 with an extra $5 for the baby seats and we were able to pay with a mixture of credit card and cash.

This is a great way to spend some time in Jervis Bay, the weather was overcast and we were beached out so loved this activity for a nice change.

Visited today at the Elizabeth drive address, were greeted very cheerfully by Lillian and another woman as well.
The bikes were in good condition and did the job for biking around the bay. We were able to select our own bikes and had our seats adjusted before leaving. Lillian made it easy by giving us a little heads up about which trek to follow as well.
Overall it was a good experience. Would recommend.

My family and I had a great time on the bikes exploring the National Park. The bikes were in good condition, comfortable and safe. Jervis Bay Bikes delivered the bikes to our door, and were very accommodating when we requested a new last minute pick up location. Thanks very much!

We do try to accommodate the delivery and collection of bikes according to our customers needs so we often collect bikes from a different location to that of drop off, we encourage all hirers to discuss pick up arrangements with our drivers to ensure ease of return.

My teenage kids loved it and so did I. The walking/cycling path along the coastal beaches was lovely and with the quality of the bike, nice and easy (especially for me ;-)). We also went for longer than the expected hour, like an hour and a half, but we were still only charged $15 each (the hourly rate). Not sure if it was a mistake but I was happy. They only took cash though which luckily I had. I do like to have EFTPOS as an option.

Thank you Martha, very happy to read you enjoyed your bicycle ride, for the benefit of future readers I would like to advise our business model has changed since you wrote your review, we now offer bikes for day hire rather than by the hour, our day hire rate is is great value for hirers.
Although bikes can be collected for our agent in Vincentia we are now a mobile business so we deliver and collect bikes too hirers, this is a free service. Hirers can also pay with EFTPOS, credit card or cash upon delivery.
We hope to see you and your family again during your next Jervis Bay break :-)

This was a great outfit and at the perfect spot to go on a beautiful ride. The equipment was perfect, they had everything we needed for kids of various ages (we rented two bikes, one tag-along, one trailer). Highly recommend.

We just spend the most fabulous day riding a tandem bike along the beautiful shores of Huskisson, Jervis Bay. It was a mother daughter day out, hiring two tandems. We have never laughed so much. The path is not strenuous, but well paved and safe. It is an hour ride if you don't stop, however to do all at once would be a waste and I suggest you hire out for the full day as this is made for day long of enjoyment. Along your way, are the most beautiful beaches to chain your bike up (supplied by shop) and go for a dip, there is even a bridge if you dare to jump off along your way, stop at Vincentia for lunch and icecream and continue on your trip. "Around Jervis Bay Bike Hire and Tours" are an A class outfit. Our bikes were near new and in excellent condition, we got a lesson (which was needed and thank you) as has been a while since the mums have got on a bike let alone the fun of a tandem. If you are looking for a day out and something different and fun to do, don't go past this one. Well worth it. PS Along our paths we saw other bike riders who chose to hire the more adventurous (and strenuous) bikes which I assume they took more off the beaten track. Can only imagine, because of the beauty of this area worth a go. Maybe next time. Thank you "Around Jervis Bay Bike Hire & Tours" will bring my hubby and son next time and do as a family.

It would have been very nice of the owner to tell me from the beginning that her shop would not be open on Mondays because in my first request I sent on Saturday I already told her the date we want to hire the bikes (monday).
We were waiting for her for about half an hour and really did not know what to do as she wasn't even available on the phone number she told us.
At the shop there isn't any sign that says it is closed on Mondays.
Luckily there is another bike rental in huskisson that is open every day and not depending on the weather.
A very friendly woman gave us two bikes for 45$ Each instead of 60$.
We were waiting for her for about half an hour and really did not know what to do as she wasn't even available on the phone number she told us.

Luckily there is another bike rental in huskisson that is open every day and not depending on the weather.
A very friendly woman gave us two bikes for 45$ Each instead of 60$.

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed that our business was closed on the day you wished to hire, we did advise you by return email that we do not open the shop in wet weather.
The mobile phone no we provided as a contact has voice mail, at times it is not always possible to answer for example when we are driving, however messages are returned promptly when left.
We do deliver bikes directly to your accommodation free of charge by request so generally bikes are available 7 days a week even when the shop is closed.
Our hire conditions and price lists are displayed on our website and on our face book page, our pricing reflects the quality of our equipment.
Even though you did advise your intention to collect bikes on the day by email, no formal booking was made and no phone number provided as a contact so we were unable to follow up your informal request on the day.

I rented a bike to participate in the annual santa ride which is held in Huskisson to raise funds for charity. The bike was cheap but great quality. The bike shop extended its opening hours on the day to allow bikes to be returned but I was given the option of keeping the bike overnight and returning at 9am at no extra charge.
The staff really went out of their way to make things easy for me, I would highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting the area.
