A few metres east of the parish church Mariä Himmelfahrt, in this chapel was formerly holy water kept, the chapel dates from the 15th century and houses Deggendorf's oldest work of art: a Romanesque Tympanum from 1250 depicting the “flight of the Holy family to Egypt”, further reliefs and epitaphs, as well as the valuable 17th century stone statues which...
