River sledding is a unique and thrilling experience which puts you centimetres from the water as you make your way downstream. Your sledding adventure will have you drifting down the river belly first, a mix between a gentle float with the natural current as you take in the surrounding lush scenery. There’s no experience necessary!

Was not sure what to expect, however the morning river sledding was absolutely fabulous. Daniel and Jeff are great guides and looked after the tour well, advising the best path downstream. We all got wet, but not cold due to the wetsuits provided. The rapids were fun, and the kids loved the day. The river feels untouched and the flat section was very peaceful to drift downstream.

Great afternoon on the river. Ryan and Daniel were very helpful and knew their stuff, with great information and directions on the river. They were both extremely patient and helpful to those who struggled. No pressure and allowing those to take their time when needed. Highly recommend the river sledding.

Daniel is a great host. Well organised, calm and terrific journey down the river. Crystal clear water and with the wet suits on we did not get cold at all. Great for kids too our young ones loved it!
Make sure you grab lunch from the Meander cafe after for great food and even better coffee.

Highly recommend! Fantastic guides with a mix of level one and two rapids. Lots of laughs and some exciting challenges along the beautiful river. Was a highlight of our Tassie holiday. Super fun to do with our teenagers and my 74 year old father!

Millie and Ryan were fantastic during the tour we had so much fun with them!! The activity was absolutely great even the rain and cold weather didn't stop us to have fun (these wetsuits are magic haha) As much as it's an adventurous activity it feels 100% safe so definitely recommended for all ages! Thanks for the amazing afternoon we spent with you :) Laura and Alex

Highly recommend. We had a great morning. I thought I would be cold, however it was no issues. Our kids, who are 16 and 11 had a fun time.

Beautiful bushland arches over the river as you navigate your way through the rapids. I found it quite physically challenging but it was a lot of fun and leaves you feeling invigorated. Daniel and Phil are fantastic local guides who gave us a memorable experience.

Great experience paddling down rapids on a inflatable sled. Had heaps of fun! Guides were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely do it again!
