I grew up on St-Albert cheese curds; they are the best! It is also a nice drive from Ottawa; something to do on any day, go for cheese and ice cream :) They also have their annual cheese curd festival.

We always go for a 45 min ride to the factory to get our fresh curds and cheese. Great cheese, squeaky fresh curds.

Whenever we visit the Ottawa area we seek St Albert curds so decided to stop by the factory quickly when in the vicinity. Lovely store with good variety and unexpected finds. Spotlessly clean but surprised the prices were not lower considering.
