This waterpark has lots of different activities for children of all ages. Our 3 and 7 year old could go on lots of different slides, etc. However you have to be aware of minimum height requirements for some slides. The two children loved play in the area for younger children and spent the whole day there. Towards the end of the day went on a few of the rides but our youngest couldn’t go on those. We popped across to the pool and the children enjoyed that just as much. There was more to the park like the crazy golf but we chose to spend our time in the water.

We went during term time for the children and it was great as we didn’t have to queue for hours to go on the different rides/ slides. If we had gone during the holidays or on the weekend we would have had to wait a lot longer.

Hey Nick, thanks so much for vising and for taking the time to leave a review. Sounds like you had a great experience, and brilliant idea to come during our off peak period, during school term is always the best way to skip the wait times. Hope to see you again soon.

Our first time. We only had a couple hours, but it was amazing. Will definitely be coming back to see everything. Staff were amazing and explained everything. Hired a hut as we had no idea what we were doing. It did make things so much easier. We could have gotten away without as it was quiet. But our first time, happy with our decision.
Highly recommend

Highly recommend the park. We came from the UK and took our 4&5 year old. There were life jacket floaties (ours didn't need them as they swim) and they had lots of life guards. Very strict rules on heights for the slides. Plenty for mine to go on. Lots of added extras including mazes, mini golf, chess and more. A brilliant day out. It was busy but that was to be expected and I felt it was still really worth going to! Staff pleasant. We didn't eat the food there as we brought some stuff with us.

Hey Natalie, Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to review. We certainly do our best to follow the manufacturers instructions for each attraction but we promise that is only because Guests safety is our number one priority. We hope to see you again when you visit Australia next!

Having just moved to Perth we wanted a fun day out for three adults three children while it was a bit quieter before the schools break up for Christmas. We booked to come mid week when the Black Friday deal came on so got 20% off tickets, it was great there were a few school trips and families but didn’t have to queue long for the slides! We were here from opening until it closed luckily it wasn’t too hot, the new lagoon pool that’s opened is great, there are plenty of areas for all age groups alongside golf and chess and a couple of mazes. There is also a koala experience which unfortunately is not included but we paid and it was great got up close and learned a lot about them! Would definitely recommend and be coming back again!

Hey Z7843NWalexo, Very good idea to take advantage of our Black Friday Sale! Throughout the Season we try to make the Park as accessible to everyone as possible - the Black Friday Sale is a great example, but we also offer Early Bird discount on our memberships, concession pricing, Mini Group discounts, and even share a few promotional codes from time to time. Your review was a delight to read and we very much hope to see you again soon.

We had a brilliant day here with our children (boys) aged 10, 12 and 14. They loved the water rides so much that we didn't get to do any dry activities.

Children enjoyed the activities apart from long lines. However there is insufficient shade while the children are lining up and insufficient for adults. More seating while waiting for children to come down rides would be appreciated. The pool areas should be shaded.

My husband and I took our two children aged 11 and 13 to Outback Splash. We knew that during the winter the water play area would be closed but thought the mini golf, koalas and mazes were worth a journey out to see. The cost of $10 per person was definitely reasonable and I also thought the food was quite tasty and not too expensive. What really disappointed me to no end and why I gave two stars was that we paid the extra to see the koalas up close. The koalas looked so miserable - they sat on their branch with their head against the wall the whole time. I get that it is their environment and they were sleepy, but why charge for this ‘experience’ if you’re not even able to take a photo of the front of the koala. I have a beautiful picture of my son with the koalas butt. The attraction I also thought as constructive feedback should have had two people running it - one person to answer questions people may have from the viewing deck and the other for the people in the enclosure who paid the extra. Our person spent the entire time talking to everyone else and just moved a set of steps around for my kids to step on and try and pat the back of the koala. I think in the winter, this park is really clutching at straws with activities for kids.

G’Day dtownerr, thank you so much for visiting! And while we so appreciate you taking the time to give us a detailed review, in light of how many positives you listed it is a shame to know you only consider our attraction 2 stars. Other than the water attractions you accurately mentioned are not open during the winter months, our venue offers a number of mazes, a 9 hole mini golf course, animal experiences, and during the holidays this year archery (which had an additional booking fee and a free bee show for just $10… Golly, if that is clutching at straws we need to know where you normally frequent in the winter holidays to get some pointers. Thank you for the kind feedback in relation to the food and it is terrific to know our discounted admission price was great value for money too… Although the note about value for money did seem to contradict the aforementioned feedback? We would like to respond to your notes about the Koalas in perhaps a little more detail, we are very proud of our Koala program and also sensitive to public opinion when it comes to live animals: i) animals; in recent years we have moved away from keeping animals, not in any way shape or form because of their conditions or lifestyle, but solely because of Guest feedback. In fact our only animals these days are our family of Koalas and a small group of Kangaroos. ii) enclosure; our Koala enclosure has indoor and outdoor areas, low trees branches for the Koalas' to climb and nestle into, and fresh leaves throughout the day… During the winter months they also have heat lamps, which we appreciate is a comfort they would not have in the wild but they certainly enjoy sleeping near them nonetheless. iii) photos; our Koalas are not trained, or coerced into performing, which is good news for them… But does sound like it ruined your son's photo… No one wants to see a Koala bottom in an Instagram story. iv) sleep; Koalas sleep for around 20 hours a day, and we are hesitant to wake them up for Koala Experiences but we do try to time it the best we can. Our apologies that your Koala Experience did not meet your expectations. v) Team members; your notation around how many Team members should help will be discussed with Managment. Perhaps on busy days this is something we should certainly look at. vi) AKF; we have a very positive relationship with the Australian Koala Foundation, and are known nationally for our Koalas, their care, and our breeding program. We hope the above provides some context and acknowledges your feedback appropriately, regardless of our notes, we would like to offer you a complimentary entry to visit next winter to experience the park again. If you are happy to email info@outbacksplash.com.au we will facilitate this for you.

Fantastic place - mini golf, mazes, animals and incredible water play. Suits a wide variety of ages. Also has a decent cafe. Staff were great (rare at kid venues!), pleasant, patient and constantly observant of kids in the water - offering tips on slides and advice they were actually a highlight!

Coming back here as an adult with your spawn is a trip down memory lane. Pristine lawn (some would have lawn envy!) great clean facilities and timeless classics, even if it’s the quieter times it’s worth a trip to see all the nearly retired English people get burned
