This is the third visit in fifteen years and is still interesting. This time with teenaged boys who were initially not that interested in the visit, but the guides captured their interest. The guides at Knowth (Marion) and Newgrange had very different styles but both...More

What an awesome, beautiful place! It's extremely well-run and is VERY popular with tourists. Plan to arrive early so you can get a spot. We toured the neolithic mounds at Knowth and the tour guide was fabulous. We learned so much! We weren't sure if...More

This is a full & historic day out. It is very informative of what we know of those thousands of years ago. It is signposted from the nearby M1 junction or Slane. Also there are many good tours from Dublin.

We showed up to the attraction not knowing quite what to expect. We visited Knowth first then Newgrange. Both are well kept up and offer different perspectives. It is interesting to see how they recreated the two sites differently. The guide at Knowth was proud...More

This is a fascinating archaeological site that is well worth the visit. We arrived in the morning just as they opened and it was worth the early start. The lines were short (yes, there were already lines...) and moved quickly. The staff were all friendly...More

Great for kids to understand and interact with the history of the sites. Great dioramas. Expensive cafe but tasty.

How early should I get there for tickets? Tuesday June 13, 2017. My wife and I will be landing in Dublin at 5am, renting a car and headed straight to this place. I know they open at 9am. Should I plan to be there at 7am? Thank you all in advance for your help.
