This homestay/accommodation no longer operates and is in ruins. Boat drivers will still take you there and say it is possible to stay but this is not true.

Pulau Kakara in itself looks like a nice, almost desert island with a couple of very very basic rooms if you want to spend the night (big beds with used mattresses, mosquito nets and a not-so-clean mandi outside). There is also a dive center there...More

Kakara island is a very beautiful island, very nature, white sand and clear water for snorkeling. Too bad this place has no maintenance from the government, no facility inside such as toilet, restaurant or cottages. There are cottages but nobody take good care of it....More
