We stayed 3 nights travelling west from Kalbarri. We stayed in the beach front accommodation. Monkey mia Beautiful location very chilled with excellent restaurants. Food delicious , service and staff excellent very helpful. Thank you for amazing stay. Would recommend the aristocat trip saw stingray, dudong, dolphins, turtle and osprey nest with parents and chick. The commentary by the skipper was so informative and explained about the conservation in the area particularly the sea grass.
Also go to the aquarium - run by marine biologists . Excellent get close up to sharks , stingrays, fish etc etc

Beautiful beach and if you are lucky you might become able to see a couple of small dolphins that get fed but you get told off if you have your feet in the water and dolphins are around. Also only place in the world I've been that I was accosted for picking up seashells ! Children were not allowed to touch them or use them for there castles but meanwhile the volunteers are crushing and killing hermit crabs and other creatures with their huge boots walking up and down the shoreline telling you off !!! Our camp site was large but dirty underwear and a dirty sanitary pad left behind.
Very underwhelmed and can definitely experience dolphins a lot more elsewhere 🙄

Stunning location, pristine clear waters with turtles, dolphins and a huge array of fish. Resort very nice with excellent facilities. Stayed on a powered site which was huge, fair hike to the amenities however they were spotless and very modern. Had drinks and pizza in the bar during happy hour with live music, was awesome.

Other than some of the internal roads being a little in need of repair the facility is very clean, with modern and clean ablution blocks. Van sites are good size and easy to access. Has good facility for fish cleaning and offal disposal. Also a great camp kitchen and very large games room. There is Kayak hire was available and this was great half event. Would come back again.

Beautiful part of the world. Always a delight to see the dolphins and other marine life. Good place to swim, kayak, SUP or just relax and enjoy a beautiful part of the world. The resort caters for couples, families and solo travellers. Clean facilities.

We stayed here 3 nights (seeking shelter from bad weather). We stayed in the garden view rooms however we were lucky enough to get one with water views too. Room was lovely and clean and more than ample. Facilities on site were great and the restaurant had some of the best food we’ve had in a while. Only down side was we had some noisy neighbours one night however that was no fault of the resort. Although we didn’t use them, the camp kitchens looked first class.
Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very happy with our stay, had a superior beach front room, got to watch the dolphins from our room for hours and a short walk to the dolphin discovery centre, plenty of amenities on site and staff were fantastic

Doing a trip up north second stop monkey Mia we stayed in the new section unfortunately we lost power daily for about 1hr sometime twice a day. The sites were run by a small generator (not powerful enough to run all the sites) which they didn’t check and it run out of fuel and had to reset start it. We obviously spoke to manager on duty and got told they were losing power in staff area too. So basically sux it up. It was hot 40+. We loss quite a bit of food as fridge was turning off 😡 We were there for 4 days. I am really disappointed in how it was managed. The manager asked what are they to do call everyone and ask not to come. I said a phone call would be nice letting him know the power could be disruptive so we could make the call not to come.

Noticed the cleanliness and spaciousness on arrival. Family garden view room was our accommodation. Very clean. Good bed, bathroom and rooms. Adequate bar fridge and kitchenette with cutlery, plates, cups, glasses in fridge and dishwashing stuff. There is an outdoor sitting area. I felt it should be a little more enclosed especially for storing personals like dirty shoes.
EV charging is good but located in the maintenance area a little away from accommodation sites. Reception staff weren’t aware there was one! They had to ring to find out. My assumption was RAC encouraged or supported use of electric vehicles.
The resort is aimed at families with young children. Both pools were filled with children and surrounded by parents. So too was the bar. An adults only or child free pool would’ve been good
Boughshed restaurant we found outstanding

This place is without a doubt the worst run restaurant i have been to Muckenbudin hotel has better service. One person taking food orders as well as serving drinks in a large place like this is absolutely stupid management need a good rev up thank goodness for the young backpacking waiting staff. RAC you should be ashamed of the way visitors to WA are treated no water on tables having to ask for fans to be turned on really to sum it up very very amateur operation definitely would not recommend this as a must visit destination Denham had more options and heaps better service.

Hi. About the Backpacking Dorm Bed rooms at the resort, has anyone stayed in those? Would you recommend it to someone who wants to get a good night's sleep and would need to go to bed early, wake up and get ready early? I don't want to stay somewhere with a noisy room/area.

I always travel with silicone ear plugs. Then you can use them if it is not quiet enough for you.

Well for a start you can't swim with either at Monkey Mia ...standing on the shore line only.... But if you are in Coral Bay you can swim with the giant whale sharks and giant Manta rays this is way better then Monkey Mia. Hopes this helps

Hi Helouni,
Firstly 2 days is enough at Monkey Mia. Our family enjoys sitting around the beach and pool but 2 nights would have been enough. From Monkey Mia you can not swim with the Dolphins as a planned tour and swimming in the Dolphin feeding area on the beach is not allowed. Our family was swimming in the beach later in the afternoon and a Dolphin swam by but as mentioned this was straight of the beach. If you wanted to swim with Dugongs you may need to go further north to Coral Bay or Exmouth.
With regards to feeding the Dolphins at Monkey Mia you will be very lucky to feed them. They only feed a few Dolphins each morning and there are hundreds of people hoping to be chosen. The Dolphin talk is worth listening to but as mentioned you need to be extremely lucky to get in the water and feed the dolphins
