In this building you can find a cafe, a restaurant, several shops, a cinema with panoramafilm about the Nordkapp, an exhibition. All this spread over a few floors that go down in the rock beneath the building. There is also a postbox: cards posted here...More

The ultimate destination for most car drivers going North. The Halls are expensive to visit, even by Norwegian standards. There are some interesting exhibits, and a couple of short videos to see, but not much else. When we were there (second week of June) the...More

Be prepared for high winds at this spot. It was not good weather the day I visited; we had to negotiate snow-drifted roads to get there. But there was no fog so we could see the desolate and dangerous coastline. There are some interesting museum...More

We were on a tour in the winter, and while it was cold and windy, with snow , it was a lot less extreme than I expected for the location. Good information available, good food, and a great shop for souvenirs. A place you will...More

I guess it's the sort of price you're only willing to pay because you've travelled the entire way up there. The visitor centre and the souvernir shops are quite nice and the small bistro serves lovely waffles. It's no more and no less though. If...More

Did you just take a local bus? Which boat ride were you referring to? Thanks. J.

I went with a tour, but I'm sure the local hotels and hostels can tell you which buses go there and what time they come back. I didn't do a boat ride.

On June 24 when Prinsedam docks in Honningsvag 8-5, what is the local bus schedule to the viewpoint/hall and return and cost with entry? Do we pay for the bus in NOK or can we use $? Do we get the bus at the cruise pier? Is there a link or email address for reserving a local taxi to the viewpoint/hall?
