Bieutifull spot to rest your tired feet

Deep down the canyon. 1000 meters down you can enjoy the oasis. Waterpowered hostels, pools with riverwater. Friendly staff, new people that all need to get back up that mountain.

A magnificient " paradise " at the bottom of the Valley.24 km of hard but wonderful trekking were you keep finding amazing corners " to take pictures and other people to share experiences. I decided to make the route the same day, starting at Cabanaconde (3.200m) going down until the " Oasis "(2.200m) and back up,but you can spend a night... More

It looked good from the mountains when hiking around but the 3 hostels are really bad, and the whole place is purely made for tourists, nothing typical here. There are much better places in the canyon like Llahuar, San Juan, etc.

We arrived completely exhausted and boiling hot from our solo trek so the swimming pools were everything we wanted, however after trekking elsewhere for two days in the Colca Canyon, Sangalle seemed a bit of a tourist trap, and I can't help but feel sorry for anyone who just treks there and back as the views elsewhere in the canyon... I arrived at Sangalle from Fure. The trail is dusty and the vegetation dry so Sangalle was a welcome green sight. As the trail drops down from the road toward Sangalle there was a man selling drinks and fruit for about half of what they charge in Sangalle. The pool in Sangalle was clear and refreshing with a few bugs... More

If you go for the colca canon trek, avoid Sangalle Oasis. Better to trek via Lluhar, Fure and Tapay. They are by far authentic places where people are amazingly welcoming and kind. Sangalle is a tourist trap and we were treated with no manners. We were given a room where water leaked all over. Our bags were totally wet and... More

Good place to relax and have your time in one of four swimming pools. Try to check prices and condition in all four lodges they have there.

This is the classic place to sleep during the 2 day colca trek. It quiet and has a pool which looks like it should be in some TV show or film. The beds are comfy and you can pay a little bit more for your own bathroom (though it is not really necessary). The food is not great but does... More

Oasis Sangalle is a lovely place to stay the night; if you need somewhere to stay. It's beautiful and charming but don't make the journey just for this. Not one of a kind or authentic; just nice.

The trek to go there is amazing dont get me wrong but the oasis.. everyone say its amazing but it feels like a tourist trap, you are kind of trap in your hostal, our was nice with pools, clean bathroom and ok bed, but was expecting a tiny green village with fruits and mercado and we were super disapppointed by...
