Amazing little place you can have a tour of the grounds or take a self guided. Very interactive and you learn a lot of the area and have many different types of function throughout the year.

This is a very small village museum on Scugog Island. It is funded through donations and admonition fees. It could use a lot of help from the public to be maintained. This is not a place I would take young children as they would become...More

This is a great little pioneer village for a small town. There are about 10 small buildings that give a great representation of early colonial lifestyle in a rural setting. The price is excellent for the value ($2 per person) just make sure they are...More

My son and daughter in law held their wedding at the Scugog Shores and it was wonderful. The 155 year old Church on the premises was intimate and cozy for the 55 guests in attendance. The tea room was an added bonus, which was used...More

This is a great museum for a small town. It is tucked away in the community center so its a bit hard to find but its worth the effort to find it.
