Its a can't miss sight, especially just 10 miles from Geysir, also amazing and fun. We went at night and it was not crowded and full sunlight in July. YOu can walk all around on safe paths. Nice little placards with the history as well.

Iceland has more than a dozen of amazing waterfalls. Gulfoss is one of the most beautiful ones. It lies 10km from geysir and is free to visit! When the sun shines, you can see an awesome rainbow

This was our first major waterfall stop in Iceland and it did not disappoint. You can get up close to the waterfall and really feel the power and the spray of the water. An amazing experience (despite the crowds and the flies). A must see...More

Gullfoss waterfall was an incredible view and experience. The waterfall is extremely massive and breath taking. Unfortunately, it wasn't sunny the day I went so I couldn't catch the rainbow that's usually engulfed over it.

Truly a great landmark worth seeing right outside of Reykjavik. Do the Golden circle and stop by here.

Where are you staying? In which town? The Golden Circle is a must-see and it certainly is worth a detour.

We were on the Golden Circle EXPRESS tour which gave us 45 minutes there in very extreme weather. If the weather had been clear, we'd have wanted longer (not least to walk down the route that was closed on the day we were... More
