Lovely beach. You may stumble upon an artist living. The place is full of character and awe. Bring easy footwear as part of the beach is granite. Keep an eye on the tide as you can get carried away walking along and exploring. Should the...More
Really unique formations for this area. The best way to do it in my opinion is to go at low tide and walk the 10km from Sidi Ifni along the beach all the way then get a bus to hitchhike back. Or walk back if...More

The trip from Agadir is probably best done by taxi or car but it is a lovely drive and when we did it in the spring we stayed in Sidi ifni and visited Legazira beach on our way back to Agadir. We took a picnic and spent a pleasant half a day travelling along the coast road - that was full of wild flowers, with several viewing points of the coastline - and takes you to the bird sanctuary area. However it is quicker to take the main road direct to Agadir if you are short of time.
If you are intending to just take a day trip out you would need to go to Tiznit (a beautiful walled town with a flourishing silver souk) this is 91 km from Agadir, and then on to Legazira beach which is on the road to Sidi ifni.
The previous posts are very accurate and it is worth a longer stay if possible.
