We went here twice: once on a horse ride tour; once on a diving instruction tour. On the first occasion there were three other couples; on the second occasion we were alone. It's a nice little beach. One of the locals showed us the path...More

Went to this beach on a boat out of Las Galeras. It is very private and a fun beach to spend an hour or two.

I went for a run from Las Galeras to Playa Madama. There is a lot of vegetation on the path and ground is sometimes rocky and uneven (especially close to the beach), so remember to take proper shoes. The beach itself did not strike me...More

If you are looking for a cast away experience than this is it. There literally is nothing there but a beach with rock face on your left and coconut trees to your right. I did a lot of great snorkeling and hate to admit it...More

The beach could be lovely but it is dirty from what the people left there. Another thing is the theft - our friends got robbed on the way back from there(at a banana plantation) and were threatened by a guy with a machete. If you...More

What an amazing spot! Secluded in a sheltered bay, and accessible by boat. The cliffs surrounding the beach enclose it in its own private world. Take the boat from las Galeras, but hold on. The seas can be quite rough until you get into the...More
