Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was the first time we went to a winery for a wine tasting experience. The location, very close to Barcelona, is fantastic with a nice view over the wine-making region of Penedès. The guide was very good, she gave us all sort of details about the history of the winery -which we toured- and the winemaking process - they were the first to produce ecological wine in the area. The tasting, in a very nicely decorated room, included (very good) wines *and* artisanal chocolates to match each of the wines. A very good experience. Just one downside: the cellar, where to casks are located, is subterranean and it is accessed through several flights of stairs, no lift - so it's not very accessible for people with mobility challenges. And definitely not for wheechairs.
We finished the day off at a very nice restaurant in the village of Sant Pau d'Ordal, which rounded the experience for us!

We booked a tasting and lunch with Albet I Noya via their website. The lunch was at a restaurant a few mins away and included three courses with wine from the winery- all were amazing! Then we went to the winery for a tour and additional tastings. We met the owner, we walked around the property and learned so much about the wine making process and the local area as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the region!

This Company was the first one in Spain to make ecological wines. The winemaker we were told takes bold steps and works on his terms. Was the only Winery we saw that exports about 85% of there production. Quite amazing

Visited this lovely organic vineyard with our kids and some friends on a Sunday afternoon and was incredibly impressed. Our tour guide Nuria was wonderful and even after having visited dozens of wineries in both the US and Europe, I learned many new things. The Penedes region is known for its white wines and cava, and the ones we tasted were exceptional. This winery fuses modern winemaking techniques with a biodynamic sensibility. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit!

I have visited many vineyards now in different regions and this one stands out simply because of the friendly staff who provide an excellent tour of the property with detailed information in English of the process for organic wine making.
the wines are very good and especially the Classic Penedes, which is a high quality Cava that can compare to the next Champagnes from France.

My wife and I were taken here during a wine tour with Niso Wine Tours. Our hostess for the visit was a charming woman named Anna. Her knowledge of the organic and bio-dynamic principles this winery uses was impressive. We tasted three wines, a sparkler, an old vine Xarelo-lo white wine and a Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo blend called La Milana. All were excellent. Definitely would go back and will endeavor to find their wines here in California.

I visited Albet i Noya for the second time this summer. It is a picturesque organic winery with many delicious wines to taste - one of my favourites is their entry level Xarel.lo which is a great example at a very affordable price. I was particularly interested in their experimental work and really enjoyed the wine Marina Rion, which is unique to them. We had a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who was happy to take her time with us.
I would highly recommend visiting if you are in Barcelona and have a free day to get out to Penedes.

The staff at Albet i Noya were amazing and made the experience oh so wonderful. The artistically painted staircase is a must, but again the staff made you feel so special.

They don't seem to have a facility for dinning purposes. However, just km from there, you can find a small town, Siburats, with good restaurants. Do not forget to book the restaurant in advance.
