There is a small parking area but we found the trail head to be well marked. The trail itself is a relatively easy to navigate path. It is down hill all the way to the beach but the forest is beautiful. At the bottom it...More
Located right off the highway, there is a place to park for a couple of vehicles. Trail is marked with a sign and you follow it down to the falls. Lots of different trails to follow but all lead down. It was raining when we...More
A great little walk to a wonderful waterfall. As we had printed out some instructions we found the track OK but some would walk straight past it. Viewpoint from above falls but also a track to the base of the falls and the lake. Steep...More
Beautiful falls just off the highway. A bit of a steeper walk down with lots of switchbacks but a good trail and boardwalk at the bottom. Please don't take shortcuts across the switchbacks as it causes washouts and degrades the trail. Right next to the...More
The Falls are lovely any time of year, the addition of boardwalks gets you past the tricky parts on the path. Take the old road down if you are in sandals or the shortcut trail if you have boots on. There is the creek, the...More
I visit Fletcher Falls every time I’m in Kaslo. Depending on the time of year, the falls give you a unique experience - from rushing and loud in the spring to calm quiet in the fall. It’s worth the hike down (and back up). There’s...More

Drive south from Kaslo, constantly watching for a sign on the left side of the road indicating that this is where Fletcher Falls is. Turn left onto a short dirt road that takes you into a small parking lot at the right. When you get out of the vehicle, you will see directions to the left pointing the way down to Fletcher Falls. I think that you pass through a metal barrier/turnstile, but there is no charge for either parking or going down to view the falls. The walk down to the falls is an incline and takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on your agility and speed.
I didn't find the turn-off to the falls to be that well marked, so have your passenger[s] be vigilant for the sign when driving south from Kaslo, because often there will be some impatient local drivers behind you who are hot on your tail and who are annoyed with you for driving so slowly!
