We have been visiting Kaslo for 40+ years, and have had the pleasure of watching as this project has unfolded. I recently visited with my brother (visiting from Europe), and toured the now stationary and permanently dry docked vessel. Totally Fascinating. Excellent restorative work, and...More

We spent an afternoon going through this historic old vessel and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The quality of the restoration is excellent. A step into our history.

It's always interesting to see where what was in the past and how people lived. The SS Moyie gives us a really good look at that era when people were more formal and different codes adhered to.

We really enjoyed visiting the SS Moyie. There was a short informative video and then we were free to wander around the boat - you could see the big boiler and steam lines, walk through the saloons and peek in all the cabins, and go...More

Really interesting, you are able to go all over the ship and learn about the ship in times gone by. There is also an old miners cabin and railway carriage. For a donation of $5 you can blow the foghorn!
