Special views all around and although in October it was a pleasant walk. Main beech is do free which is a major bonus. Will have to visit in the nice weather!

Not a Boden bag or smart device in sight. Just children playing, people walking their dogs in the shallows of the stunning Tywi estuary, pensioners eating fish and chips on the bench watching the sun go down...such a happy and carefree atmosphere. Loved it. Play...More

Soft sand with shells, when tide is out goes on for miles, some places a bit soggy, and there were some very interesting jelly fish with tentacles left behind by the tide. The carpark is free, there are toilets and tea room and chip shop....More

This is not a place for swimming but for several hours after high tide once the water has receded there are literally miles of golden sand and round the castle headland some of the best rock pooling to be had in this part of Wales....More

Dogs not allowed on main beach adjacent to car park but a short walk further on, dogs are allowed!
