This is an interesting lesson on how sea salt is gathered and process for making it usable. At this location you can also buy the various flavors of sea salt. Great for gift giving.

I love sea salt and it was cool to stop by this little establishment to see where it is all produced. Would suggest a trip out to get a real taste of a Maine treat!

The owner is friendly and the free tour is short but informative. The products they sell are not cheaper than sold at the local Hannaford, but we purchase some anyway. 30 minutes well spent
