The whole town around the bamboo grove with a stream running through it is very pretty with many photo-ops. Well worth a visit.

The forrest is small and just good for a short walk. But as it is so central in town, it's definitley worth the visit.

We loved stopping in this little town. We would go back again to spend more time. The trail is great and reminded us both of the movie spirited away. Lots of historical things in town.

It was a very pleasant walk. The only complaint is that there were sooooooo many people! I am not a fan of crowds, but still it was a pleasant walk after lunch.

Chikurinnokomichi (竹林の小径) is just short distance road. But when visitors go there, people can feel comfortable. Atmosphere is Silence, pure, calm... Good place.

The walk along the river and through bamboo trees is beautiful and very low key. I think it's even pretty on a rainy day.

Compare to Kyoto one, its very small but still stunning experience to see all bamboos. Very clean road.
