Like all across India, since there is a such a dearth of interesting and worthwhile places to visit, places like this are hyped up. It was dirty and filthy like most of India.

Tank was big with surrounding fences. There are steps on all sides to access the tank. When we went there were some water stored in the tank. This is where the Mahamaham event happens once in every 12 years.

A Must-go place during Mahamaham which happens once in 12 years to cleanse yourself and to get rid of "sins" accumulated. Learn about the rich history before visiting the place
