You don't have to be Catholic to appreciate Iglesia Catedral. It is beautiful. The architecture and adornment is impressive. I appreciate the historic aspects of the church. It has a great appearance at night when the lights shine on the exterior. I enjoy going in...More

if you have seen a real church (milano or such) don't bother going there... it is not very special. just like any other church in south america. Tipp: just behind the church one block to the right is a little shop selling handcrafted leather belts...More

It works best if you get there at dusk. If the coffee parlour in the park were to remain open it will offer a nice view with a good coffee. But I guess you can't have it all

Beautiful church. Opened during the day. I went to a 6AM mass and there were more people at a 6AM weekday mass then many U.S. Churches have on a Sunday morning.

Just off the park, this is a nice visit, if you find yourself in Santa Rosa. Don't go during a service, as it will be very crowded and not appropriate.

Awesome spiritual journey. This is a must see. What a great place to pray. Lots of Holy statues. Nice setting in the city.

I love to see different Catholic Architecture when I travel and this Catedral was not ornate, but the misas (masses) were full every time they held mass. The Catedral is situated as to be expected at the heart of the city on the main square.

Lots of history along with being a super place of worship. The architecture, paintings, sculptures are antiques and beautiful.

The cathedral is located on the city square and is one of the oldest buildings in the town. It has interesting architecture.
