Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Primosten is accessed by a short bridge from the Croatian mainland and it is a short walk past shops and old housing to the top of the town where the church, first built in 1483 is sited overlooking the sea. The cemetery on the cliff next to the church is particularly interesting. It was then very pleasant to walk back down into the town square to sit and have an ice cream or drink.

The church is very pretty and worth a visit, but the best thing is definitely the view from the church as it is on top of the island. Absolutely stunning

My wife and I had stopped at a view point to take photos of Primosten from the highway. There was a group of travelers that had stopped too. They had just come from there and suggested we go as well. We are certainly glad that we did! The church is the main attraction to the town, but, really, it's a whole package. Great shops, fruit stands, and very clean. Impressively clean. The hike up to the Church of St. George is short one. Once at the top a 360 degree vista waits you. The tombstones are lovely. Each one kept meticulous with flowers, pictures of the deceased and offerings. If you are driving up the coast, stop here and spend some time. You'll be glad you did. Make sure to have a swim as well.

Walking around the peninsula and up the hill to the chirch. All the way around you see the sea, Late on the day it´s a real romantic walk. Chruch isn´t open the whole day, so you have to ask someone.

The views whilst walking are beautiful. It is nice to peruse the restaurants round the bottom of the hilltop and a couple on the top! The water is crystal clear with little places to swim out from.

Shaded by pines and fantastic sun set views. Benches to rest on and admire the view. Wide marble steps up to the top of the hill, so quite accessible-even with a hip replacement.

Didn’t go in the church but the stones throughout the graveyard are worth the walk up the hill in themselves. Some simply stunning headstones and edifices

A small but very beautiful church. The interior with pictures of bright colors is one of the most beautiful I have seen. Very beautiful views of the sea and the islands as the church is located on the highest part of the peninsula. It is also worth a look at the church and surrounding houses built in the old style.

I wanted to know how strenuous the walk is in the town?
Written 7 September 2016
Walking up is not a problem. From the city walls you have just some 300 m. First, you are walking slightly up between houses and shops. Near the top there are less houses but some small gardens, some steps, trees and a cemetery. No problem at all except for wheelchairs.
