A very famous old Temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa who is in the form of Balasastha. The idol is believed to be installed by Parasurama. A beautiful Temple on the banks of a river.

It is one among 5 Dharma Sastha temples which is must to visit by a Ayyapa devotee. It is a pleasant place lying near forest and on bank of some lake.

Originally a Buddha temple, established by established by a member of one of the descendant families of the Madurai ruling family during the 9th century A.D who later came to be known as the Raja of Pantalam. The temple now is worshiped as a Hindu temple.

There is a river in front of the temple in which we can find a shoal of fish big and small and with different colours including red swimming everywhere. We can also feed them and it's wonderful to watch them grabbing their food.

Kulathupuzha temple is attracted by tourist due to a fish feeding area of Kulathupuzha river near by the Temple. Some devotees of the temple are strongly believe that the fishes in the river are "Thirumakkal" of lord Vishnu . Anyway you can feed the fish here with rice, peanut etc..

This is one of the five famous abodes of Lord Ayyappa .Situated on the Trivandrum Shencotta road it is accessible by road from Trivandrum. this temple is situated on the road from tvpm to kuttalam on the banks of kulathupuzha the ayyappa devotees towards sabarimala visit this temple u can feed the large fish in the river and can wash ur feet in taking adip be careful as the current is high
