Got engaged on Table Mountain a few months back and decided to do another closer to home cableway experience. We were VERY IMPRESSED by the buildings on top of the mountain. Super nice experience with spectacular views. Definitely worth a try !

Not too long of a ride by cableway, which I like. Restaurants on the bottom and on top crush hunger cravings and make for peaceful hangout time with family and friends. Sufficient parking lot.

Good experience. Service good. Food average. Provides a beautiful view over the Hartbeespoort Dam and places as far as the Cradle of Human Kind,Pretoria and Randburg on a clear day.

Took my young kids on the cableway & they loved the experience of getting up, as well as the views from the top. The restaurants at the top are pretty reasonable. However it is costly for a family with the ticket prices quite high.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Is there adequate seating and shade or should I bring an umbrella and camp chairs? Is it cold up there - going in August some time, and don't wanna freeze.
