Went there today and hiked several of the short trails. Very nice spot, however, when I was stopped to pay, the attendant informed that the park was open, so the fee applied. So I paid and went in..but nothing was open. The store was closed. Half of the driveways in to features were gated. The washroom building was closed. The... More

My dog and I went to Presqu'ile on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. We walked around the lighthouse, walked the Newcastle and Pioneer trails, walked along the lakeshore and walked the Marsh Boardwalk. The scenery was breathtaking and the walking was very enjoyable with various terrain but not demanding. I just got my annual Provincial park pass and... More

Visited many parks and have been through Presqu'ile a number of times. Always lots to do, hiking, major migratory bird staging area, long sandy beaches, photography, water sports, nature centre, lighthouse and more. Always enjoyable, a great time to reflect on nature and how fortunate we are to have such a beautiful park in Brighton, Ontario.

We are so lucky to have this amazing park at our door. We love the trails and beaches and nature. The grand kids never tire of the Boardwalk and rocky picnic area. So many great rocks to explore. Bring snacks. Bring your morning coffee.

We came to see the trees change colors in late September and it was beautiful! The Marsh Boardwalk Trail is simply stunning! We were lucky because the summer season was over and there weren't that many people.

One of my favourite places. Cycling, walking, snowshoesing, birding, in a wonderful setting. Beaches with gorgeous views, the list goes on and on. And there is the lovely Christmas craft market, and Nature Works Soup Hike!

We have camped at Presqu'ile in the past but prefer to go for a day trip. It's not my favourite provincial park, but it is very pretty. There is ample opportunity to explore nature and view birds on the beaches and on over 16 km of paths and trails and around the lighthouse. It is a large stopover spot for... More

Come to Presqu'ile and enjoy the marsh boardwalk and Jobes Woods trail. Well maintained and so lovely. The park is pet friendly. Lots of trails to enjoy

I went to the 25th Annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Show, featuring the work of over 130 of Eastern Ontario's finest Artisans and Crafters, on a weekday instead of the weekend, to avoid any crowds. I drove for almost an hour to get to Presquile Park, arriving about 11 am. Well, I found long rows of cars lined up at... More

Presqu'ile is an outstanding provincial park. It doesn't have the big sand dunes like Sandbanks but the water is clear for swimming. Lots of camping in either wooded areas or open grass fields. Best part is its not filled with people trying to run from Toronto every weekend.
