This a wonderful home from the mid-1800's... one of the first in Brighton that has been restored... there are many original furniture pieces.. The volunteers are very knowledgeable.

We went Canada Day for strawberry shortcake and couldn't resist the tour. It was personalized, the guides were knowledgeable, and there was much to see. They have live theatre in the barn out back. We weren't there at showtime.

Really enjoyed opening night at the Farce of Nature. The location and design is great, the actors spontaneous and funny and the community connection wonderful.

Proctor House museum is a well scared for an interesting mansion that depicts the way people would have lived in the 1800s. The grounds around the Proctor House are perfect for a family picnic as there are well groomed trails to explore along Butler Creek....More
