We love this place for camping it’s a great spot in any season and most days when we’ve visited the early mornings have a great view of Mount Fuji. Nice relaxing time every visit.

The lake offers an amazing view of Fuji San. It's not crowded and easily to walk around the lake. There is a place for camping as well or you can rent a bicycle or just walk is relaxing.

Not many foreign tourists like Lake Kawaguchi and you can walk 1 round around the lake within 1 hour. The reflection of Mt Fuji on the water is beautiful.

I suggest you to stay here one day! From Ueno station will take almost 4hours to Tanuki Lake.

i`m not sure about that. Because most of the camper bring their own camp equipment. but if you don't wanna bring your own camp equipment, they provide some resort really near to the camp site to stay. 😉
