案内板だけの立つ芝生広場です

常陸国分尼寺跡は桜の木がポツポやなさなツと植わった芝生広場です。入口に石碑、中心部に案内板がある程度です。
桜の時期に訪問したので、それなりに桜は楽しめましたが資料館が無いのは残念でした。明確な駐車場は見当たりませんでしたが車を止める場所には困りませんでした。
後で見学に立ち寄った「石岡市ふるさと歴史館」には、瓦程度の展示はあったと思いますが、復元模型は国分寺だけでした。
